Feng Shui calculator

There is a toolbar at the top of the screen. The toolbar contains two menus (left and right) that are displayed when you press the "≡" buttons. The left menu is intended to display various windows, the right menu contains commands for setting up the application and setting up the display of various information.
The clock buttons are for returning the date of birth (left button) and the current date (right button).
The rest of the togle buttons are intended for changing:
"h" - hours;
"m" - minutes;
"D" - days;
"M" - months;
"Y" - years.
These buttons work in conjunction with the buttons located in the first part of the main window (see below).

The main application window displays frequently used information that is necessary for personality analysis.
It is vertically divided into 5 parts:
1) information about the person;
2) the pillars of fate and calculated date;
3) merging of the pillars of fate with the pillars of the calculated date;
4) punishments in the pillars of fate, transit and in the calculated date;
5) symbolic stars.

The first part at the top center contains the name of the selected person and their age, calculated as the difference between the calculated date and the date of birth.
The date of birth is displayed on the left, and the calculated date with the day of the week is displayed on the right. There are buttons in the form of triangles next to each date:
◄ - to decrease the specified part in the date (time);
► - to increase the specified part in the date (time).
To specify the part to be changed, it is necessary to press the corresponding button on the toolbar. In the state of the toolbar, as shown in the figure, the month number will change in the dates.
For each date, to the right of the ► button, the time zone corresponding to the place of birth and place of calculation for the selected person is displayed.
Daylight saving time indicator (yellow circle) may appear after the time zone.

The second part contains the pillars of fate and the pillars of the estimated date. Each element has a specific color.
On the left, the pillars of fate (Hour, Day, Month, Year) and the pillars of Conception and Life are displayed. The pillars of the Hour, Conception and Life may not be calculated and, accordingly, not displayed if the hour of birth and the mother's gestational period are not entered for the selected person (this information may not be known).
The Pillars of the calculated date and the Pillar of Luck are displayed on the right.
The names of the elements (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Tree (Wood)) can be displayed in different ways, depending on the program settings (see Application settings):
- with a capital letter (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Tree (Wood)), if the element is yang and it is not the result of merging;
- with a small letter (fire, earth, metal, water, tree (wood)), if the element is yin and it is not the result of merging;
- in capital letters (FIRE, EARTH, METAL, WATER, TREE (WOOD)), if the element is obtained due to the merging of elements and in the application settings merging within the date or transit are enabled (see Application settings).
Aspects of the pillars (Personality, Intelligence, Wealth, Power, Resources) can be displayed in the pillars instead of the names of the elements, indicating the value of the favors of each element (see Application Settings).
Those interested can enable the display of elements in the form of hieroglyphs (see Application settings).
Depending on the settings, various information can be displayed directly below the earth branches (see Application Settings):
- hidden heavenly stems (the first letter of the element name is used);
- dominant hidden heavenly stems (the first letter of the element name is used);
- Qi phases 1st degree;
- Qi phases 2nd degree;
- Qi phases 3rd degree;
- numbers in a 60-year cycle.

Above and below the pillars, the results of merging (names of elements in capital letters) and collisions (confl) of elements within the date are displayed.

At the very bottom of the second part, the mergers of the triple elements are displayed within the date.

The third part contains information about transit (between the elements of two dates) mergers and collisions of the elements.
Left - mergers and collisions of heavenly stems. The first line corresponds to the heavenly elements of the date of birth, the last column corresponds to the heavenly elements of the calculated date.
On the right are mergers and collisions of earthly branches. The first row corresponds to the earthly branches of the calculated date, the first column corresponds to the earthly branches of the date of birth.
At the intersection of rows and columns, merges of elements (names of elements in capital letters) and collisions (confl) of elements are displayed.
Merges of the triple elements are displayed at the bottom right.

In the fourth part, punishments are displayed in the pillars of fate, transit and in the pillars of the calculated date.

The fifth part displays symbolic stars in the pillars of fate and in the pillars of the calculated date.

A red flickering rectangle around the personality element (the heavenly element of the day in the date of birth) warns of special combinations: KuiGang (FaiKong), Three mystics, Yang edge, Qi Transformation, Heaven and Hell Network - Intuition, Follow the leader, Superpowerful personality.
To find out what this special combination is, you need to click on the heavenly element of the day, located in the red rectangle, and a description of the special combination will appear at the bottom of the window.
Some exceptional situations affect the calculation results in the application (see Application settings).

If you click on any earthly element in the pillars of fate or the calculated date, a description of the elements of the specified pillar will appear.
The full name of the Qi phases can be displayed at the bottom of the pillar description, if the application is configured to be displayed accordingly in the lower element of the pillar (see Application Settings).

Description of punishments is displayed by clicking on any name in the column of punishments.

Clicking on any symbolic star name will display the description of the stars.
